The Codes of Good Practice's Interpretive Guide seeks to provide clarity and simplification on the standard mechanism to be applied with regard to Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE).
The Codes will go a long way to minimize or eliminate differences in the interpretation of B-BBEE concepts that have caused the delay in the formulation of the charters as well as the implementation of black economic empowerment policies.
